ENVO Flex
Foot pegs, shields, or racks not as expected or no instructions
Confirm accessory compatibility with ENVO (serial/model/year). Ask for instructions/videos if not included; do not modify critical hardware attachments.
Delays in receiving help or parts from ENVO/dealer
Follow up regularly via ticket/email with full details and photos. Ask for escalation if time-sensitive. Keep all correspondence documented.
Accessories don’t fit, mounting hardware won’t align
Loosen all bolts, align all brackets, then tighten little by little. If threads are stripped or holes don’t line up, contact ENVO for hardware or alignment advice.
Unclear which Flex Overland version or battery fits
Provide full serial number to support. Confirm on ENVO support portal for model/year compatibility before ordering parts.
Display shows error 06 (startup issue)
Reboot display and controller (power off/on), check all wiring between battery and controller. Confirm battery fully charged. Contact ENVO with error code if persists.
Flats soon after use or trouble removing/installing tube
Inspect for rim strip misalignment or tire bead issues. Use proper tire lever technique; if tube seems defective out of box, contact ENVO with photos for replacement.
Bike powers off suddenly
Check battery connection and charge status. Reseat battery, inspect for loose wiring. If issue repeats, contact ENVO for controller or electrical inspection/replacement.
Charger makes noise, doesn’t fully charge battery
Try alternate wall outlet. If noise continues and battery doesn’t charge, request charger replacement. Stop using faulty charger for safety.
Riders unable to fully assemble bike on arrival
Review included parts checklist. Contact support with product details and request urgent shipping of required items. Use user manual for confirmed steps.
Bike delivered with incomplete hardware, affecting assembly
Check entire packaging before assembly. List missing parts and notify ENVO support with serial/order number; replacements sent under warranty. Do not ride until all fasteners secured.
Customer unable to self-fix, requires trike to be moved to dealer
Request guidance for dismantling/folding, if needed. Ask for transport options or remote diagnosis if unable to move trike safely.
Trike is down but dealer unavailable or delayed in response
Contact ENVO directly, citing urgency and lack of dealer support. Ask about alternative service shops if needed
Both pedal and motor functions are lost (trike cannot move by any method)
Check everything from battery/chain to rod and axle. If both fail, trike must be towed or lifted to local dealer for in-person comprehensive assessment. Document for warranty.
More than one defect/fault appears (mechanical + electronic, etc.)
List all issues clearly in contact with support. Request coordinated repair or inspection of all, so parts/shipping can be combined.
Customers unsure what failures/parts ENVO covers
Ask explicitly in ticket/email. Generally, frame and core components covered if defect/failure under normal use; accidental damage less so. Confirm response in writing.
Repeated need to request warranty for critical replacements, such as batteries, rods, sensors
Submit photos, serial, and original order details as requested. Keep communication in ticket/email thread for tracking.
System fails despite no displayed error, even after sensor swaps
Reseat controller, battery, and all major harness plugs. Swap in known-good sensors or components if available. If mystery persists, escalate; may indicate controller/wiring issue inside frame.
Brake sensors fail to cut or restore power, or keep motor off
Adjust sensor magnetic switch position if out of range. Plug/unplug sensor wires. If switching sensors doesn’t fix issue, controller is likely at fault—document and escalate to ENVO for replacement.
Delays in resolving warranty or technical concerns
Always document (photos, serial), respond to support with case/ticket number, and follow up as needed. Dealer network may be bypassed by contacting ENVO directly through main support portal.
After a fault, manual pedaling does not drive trike, though motor might still power wheel
Inspect chain and all chainring/cassette teeth; check for jammed/derailed chain. Inspect for loose crank or broken pedal. Full drivetrain inspection recommended; escalate if parts are stripped or internally broken.
Throttle loses response, or trike speed surges/drops unexpectedly
Check throttle wiring at handlebar and controller for firm connection. Inspect for cut/kinked wire at folding points. If physical harness OK, try controller reset. Test on PAS mode—if both affected, escalate for controller assessment.
Sudden power loss in normal operation
Immediately check if system powers back on (battery connection may work loose). If not, check display/battery connectors, look for hot spots or burnt smell. Power cycle all electronics; escalate to support for replacement parts based on symptoms.
The tie-rod or stabilizer bar fractures with load/use
Visual inspection for cracks/breaks. If broken, provide serial and photos to ENVO; replacement rod shipped and guidance for install given. Inspect for other bending or spreading forces on frame.
Some bikes received without critical bolts/hardware
Check packaging thoroughly. If missing, provide order details/serial/photos to ENVO support. Parts like sprocket bolts can be shipped under warranty to user/dealer as appropriate.
No power to display/controller after pressing power button
Try full battery charge and reseating connection. Inspect for loose/disconnected wires along harness, especially at hinges/folds. If pinched, relocate wire and tape if undamaged; replace if insulation is cut. Swap battery/controller if possible to ...
Some bearings feel gritty or fail soon after use—often only inner bearings are bad
Turn axle by hand with wheels off ground. If grinding/sticking felt, remove axle and visually inspect all four bearings. Replace damaged ones. ENVO can provide warranty bearings as needed.
Repeated clicking from rear wheels or axle during movement
Inspect for loose nuts/bolts on axle, rear sprocket, or wheel. Check bearing fit. Lightly grease contact areas. If sound continues, possible bad bearing or improper torque; escalate for parts exchange.
Axle sits at an angle after install, sometimes due to forced fit or frame tolerance
Examine alignment visually from behind: both wheels must sit square. If off, remove axle and check for burrs/obstructions or bent frame. Re-install gently; if persists, contact ENVO for possible frame or axle replacement.
The folding hinge is loose, a small gap between folding adapter.
A simple adjustment issue. Please refer to the demonstration below. If there is a gap in folding adaptor, you can rotate the bolt counterclockwise by 2 to 3 turns, and the gap will disappear.
