Is the second battery only activated after the primary battery is spent?

Parallel Connection: Both batteries are used in parallel, meaning they power the motor simultaneously. They're not activated one after the other.
ENVO 50 series + Flex 2024-
Series Connection: Only primary battery is used, after it is depleted the secondary battery powers the bike,
