Fixing the Stax Chain Falling Off Issue
Step 1: Torque the Crankset to 35 Nm
The first step in ensuring your chain remains secure is to properly tighten the crankset bolt. Using a torque wrench, tighten the bolt securing the crankset to a torque specification of 35 Newton-meters (Nm).
Step 2: Shift the Chain to Gear 1
Next, bring the chain to the first gear on the rear cassette (the largest cog).
Step 3: Remove Two Links from the Chain
Carefully remove two links from the chain. Use a chain breaker tool for this process, ensuring clean and precise removal. Reducing the chain length increases its tension, preventing it from slipping off the gears.
