Disconnect the brake sensor to see if the error code disappears. If the screen returns to normal after disconnecting the sensor, then the problem is with the sensor.
Loosen the clamp bolts on the shift lever and brake lever using a 5mm Allen key. This will allow you to rotate the sensor up.
Plug the connector back into the brake sensor. Make sure to line up the slot and tab and push it together until it clicks.
Use a 2mm Allen key to adjust the screw on the sensor. Thread it in a couple of turns and then tilt the bike over on its kickstand.
Give the throttle a pull. If the motor is running, then the sensor has been adjusted properly. You can use the brake to stop the motor.
Rotate the sensor back to its original position and tighten the clamp bolts snugly. The bolts should not be so tight that they cannot move out of the way in the event of an impact.
